Wise

They requested extensive business documents, proof of business activity, and source-of-funds verification. We cooperated

🚨 WARNING TO EVERY BUSINESS OWNER: THINK TWICE BEFORE USING @Wise . If you’re running a business, I strongly recommend staying away from Wise. They requested extensive business documents, proof of business activity, and source-of-funds verification. We cooperated and provided everything they asked for. Meanwhile, our incoming payouts were blocked, our team members couldn’t receive their payments, and our business operations were disrupted. Then, without providing a specific explanation, THEY CLOSED OUR BUSINESS ACCOUNT. Their response? “We’re unable to disclose the reason for the closure.” How is it acceptable for a financial institution to disrupt a legitimate business, close its account, and hide behind regulatory obligations without providing any meaningful explanation? Who holds these fintech companies accountable? From our experience, businesses are expected to provide complete transparency, while the institutions handling their money can make decisions with almost none. I wouldn’t trust @Wise with our business finances again. Business owners, protect your companies. Don’t depend on a financial institution that can leave you in this position without a clear explanation. @Wise — we demand accountability, an urgent review, and a resolution for our blocked transactions.
