Fraud claim rejection Hi everyone, This morning at 10.30am Irish time, I got a notification that I had made a transaction for โ‚ฌ9.20. As I was attending a medical appointment at the time somewhere 30 minutes away from where the transaction supposedly took place, this is obviously impossible. I immediately raised a ticket with Revolut. They deemed from their logs that the transaction was made via Google Pay. They asked me had I shared my details with anyone, or lost my phone, which I said no to both, as I hadn't. They then rejected my fraud claim on the basis that Google Pay is basically too secure for fraud, and that my phone is my responsibility. This is despite me sending them a screenshot of Google maps as evidence of my location at the time of the transaction. This is incredibly frustrating. Someone has stolen my money, I can easily prove it wasn't me who made the transaction, and yet it's somehow my fault. Revolut have been less than helpful. I don't really care what the card provider constraints are to be honest, this is an open and closed case of fraud. Is this worth raising with the police? I know it's not a huge amount, but I also know from a friend that this is not the only case of fraud from this company. He works at this company, and says that at least 5 others have emailed reporting this. Any advice welcome. Thanks!
