Revolut: continuing restrictions despite an earlier restoration message and an offered goodwill payment

Outcome not established

[IT] Revolut admitted they messed up, offered me €150 "sorry" money, but my account is STILL blocked. This is a nightmare… I’m honestly at my wit's end with this bank. Around March 12th, I tried to send some money to my son and suddenly my whole account got slapped with "limited functionality." No card payments, no ATM, no transfers nothing. I’m a mom and being cut off from my own funds like this made it impossible to even buy basic stuff for my kid. It’s been a total disaster. The worst part was the gaslighting from their support. On the 18th, the in-app AI assistant told me "Good news! Your account is unblocked, go ahead and send the money to your son." I even got an official email saying the restrictions were lifted. But when I tried to use it? Still blocked. I contacted support again and they basically said "Oh, ignore that email and the bot, they were wrong, the check is still ongoing." Then I got another email saying they would provide the results of the investigation by March 28th. But here’s the kicker: every time I ask support about this date, the story changes. One agent tells me "Yes, the 28th is the deadline," and then the next one says "Actually, there are no deadlines, you just have to wait." It’s like nobody there knows what the left hand is doing. I filed a formal complaint and just got a response from an analyst at Revolut Italia named let it be Jasmin. He actually admitted I was right and apologized for the "misleading advice." He even acknowledged that I’m struggling to provide for my child and offered me €150 as a gesture of goodwill. But because my Revolut account is still frozen, he wants me to send a PDF with my external bank details just to get the apology money. How does that even make sense? They admit they screwed up, they admit I have "valid grounds for complaint," they offer me "sorry money," but they still won't let me touch my own savings or give me a straight answer about the March 28th date. My actual balance is just sitting there in limbo while they play games with deadlines. Has anyone else dealt with this level of incompetence? I’m definitely taking this to the Banking Ombudsman (ABF) now.
